PS3 Sports Champions Review

I bought this game to see what the new Playstation 3 Move controller can do. I'm actually pretty impressed with it. This is probably one of the better games to own if you have the Move controller. There is a nice variety of gameplay across the 6 or so events and as you progress in most game types it brings in more actions that you can do with the controller. This is probably most evident in the volleyball game. All of the events are pretty fun to play as well. I only have one Move controller and the game is still a blast to play, some of the events (archery, volleyball and gladiator duel) do have an option to use two Move controllers, but it is not necessary. I would like to try those modes with two controllers, but for now one works just fine. The only thing I wish the game had was online multiplayer. You can play with other people in your living room, but you can't play it online versus other people. That would be my biggest disappointment with the game, but who knows...maybe they'll patch it at some point. So, in the end I would still recommend it to anyone who wants to have a little fun with the Playstation Move.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

PS3 Sports Champions

This is the best thing for the PS3 Move to this date. It really tracks your movements and speed very accurately. It's got 6 games: Frisbee Golf, Gladiator Battle, Archery, Volley Ball, Bocce and Ping Pong. All of the games are actually better than I expected them to be (even Volley Ball) and are very playable. All the games work well with just one Move controller, but you'll definitely end up wanting a second for Gladiators, Archery and Volley Ball to get the extra options. My favorite is the Frisbee Golf and I can't stop playing it.
My complaints, while minimal, are that the game loads very slow, I have to calibrate at the beginning of every game (which could have been easily avoided had they put an option to build and save a profile) and the CPU players are perhaps way too difficult to beat in the gold and champion rounds... but that's probably so you'll be more likely to buy the download that gives you all the unlockables without beating the games.

A lot of fun for a cheap price dont need super graphics or stuning action.

I use to buy war games, car games, fight games. All with stuning graphics and great stories. But, this game, haves nothing like that, but what this game haves is a LOT OF FUN.
This game is great to share some fun moments with friends and family those rainy days when you have to stay at home.

If you have a move and you dont have this game, then you should buy it because for a few dollars you will have a lot of fun.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

You simple have to try this one

I'll be honest, I was seriously doubting the concept of this game when I saw the commercial, I was thinking it was just another average product, family oriented, that was just made to sell a controller (in this case, the Move controller).

I tried the demo (only table tennis & disc golf are available in it), and just judging from those 2 I decided to buy it, and didn't regret it. Had a couple of friends test it (who all play table tennis above average), and they're totally hooked up on it. It's fast, realistic and fun. I didn't think it was able to simulate such accurate movements into the game, but it's great. Of course, you can't say it's 100% perfect, only the real table tennis is there, but this is a close second, in terms of simulations. Other games are fun, and diverse, so each can find something he likes and enjoys.

Don't take my word for it to buy it straight away, but if this opinion encouraged you to at least try the demo, I'm sure you'll find it amazing as much as I did.

A great item

Well it took a bit because I needed a few items but all is good. Item works great. Movement eye works fine captures everything.
Game works awesome also no lagging or glitching

Fun motion game

You can upload mp3s to your ps3 via usb.you can listen to your own music via the menu while playing some ping pong or bocce or volleyball or other games while the subwoofer shakes the house.The game is very not rude, theres no murdering, car jacking, cuss words, religion, blood splatter, nudity,fighting.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Great product and a must have to all us PS3 move fans.

Get a full PS3 move experience with this Sports Champions game. Now you can play not just one, but 6 different Sports games that will leave you in front of your screen for hours. Every mini game is unique and different from the other, but at each one the sensor accuracy and realism are phenomenal. Also, in most of the games you can use 2 controllers to enhance your fun.

This Game Is The Bomb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At first I wasn't sure about this game I thought it was just a demo of what the move motion controllers could do. Boy was I wrong. I love this game it's great for single player or playing with your friends and family. There's so many different games that there is something for everyone. Don't like gladiator fighting well how about archery or bocce or ping pong or even volley ball and frisbee golf. It will give you a love for a sport you never liked before this game is awesome. Sports Champions is fun, but it’s rough around the edges. The gameplay is solid for the most part and will provide you with some good times and there’s a lot for a single player to do, but it’s not going to feel fresh for long. Very good game.

Shipping was pretty accurate. But game was not sealed like it claimed.
