Good Inexpensive Piece
First off, for the price it’s a great deal. The nut, spring,bolt to tighten and loosen the scale is kind of crappy, but after a little file work to clean up the threads it’s working ok. It is pretty perpendicular within .005 /.007 and for general / non-critical layout and gaging it’s just a handy tool to have.
Again it’s no Starrett, but it’s the tenth of the cost and if it disappears it’s not a big deal. Vollständige Rezension lesen

Accurate Compact Affordable
Accurate, compact , and affordable, but sharp corners on handle. For certain line layouts this gauge is my first choice go-to. Don't have to deal with balancing a rule that's too long. I filed the sharp corners on the handle so it feels much better to hold. Easy enough to carry in pocket so its readily available.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Cost much less than other more known brands but still has the same tolerance. Great for Semiprecision machining.

Visual quality is so-so...marks on one side of the rule. Accuracy...+/- .005"...good enough for woodworking, maybe not for metal work.
