Pleasantly surprised!

I am no stranger to the Harry Potter series, but thought that I would complete my collection with one of the original books. My book arrived around one week before it was due but unfortunately had one or two loose/missing pages. I made this know to the Pete and Claire and they very kindly sent me another copy that I am pleased to report is perfect. They invited me to keep the damaged copy- which I consider a bonus!
Book-wise, it is a very powerful and compelling novel- my favourite in the series in fact. The plot is strong and the characters are fantastic. On the whole, a brilliant well,written book.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Half blood prince

The price is good but the condition could have been better. It’s spine wasn’t in the best of shape and there are multiple damage marks on it. Over all, if I had seen it in person, I probably would have given it a pass. But for roughly £2. I really can’t complain. Vollständige Rezension lesen...

better the second time

Bought for my son who is reading the series, read myself when it came out, he was half way through order of the phoenix so I picked it up, 12 years and a movie version later, I took the time to enjoy it, not racing to the next revelation, just perfect story telling, I have since read The deathly hallows, which I was underwhelmed by at the time, 10 years later reading them back to back I would rate both 10 out of 10.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

J K Rowling has the ability to write about an alternative world with detail that makes it come alive and captivate you. A must read.

Jk Rowling has a writing style compared to none. Reading her book adds so much insight that is lost in her movies. Brilliantly written. I enjoy reading the UK Versions.

Product says good condition didnt expect a book in mint condition but one with pen marks all over it and very dented i woudnt say it was good condition
