Great and Humourous

I loved this book it was truly a Terry Pratchett Discworld. The humour was in all the right places and kept me interested all the way through

Purchased as a gift

Terry Pratchett is a genius, and Monstrous Regiment happens to be my sister's favorite his books. That made the signed first edition first printing of the UK edition an easy choice for a birthday present. The book itself was in wonderful condition, dust jacket was pretty much pristine. Classic Pratchett

If you're reading this review you've obviously read Sir Terry before and I won't spoil any of this brilliant book for you. It's a one off, only a glimpse of familiar characters late on. very good condition, loved the twists and turns as the story unfolded, terry pratchett is a master of the discworld and cant wait to have the whole set

Monstrous Regiment!

This is one of Terry Pratchetts best book! It is a whole new character who has never been seen before but who makes a great entrance. Feminism is the topic of the book as well as the war that takes place which Vimes can't stop but hey it leads to great fun.
The idea behind the book is that a war has been raging for years and all the young men have left for war and are being followed by the women. Guessing which ones are men and which are women is a great challenge!

Awesome story book written by my favourite living author. Good size print and handy size. Cover reminds me of Hamburger Hill, or something like that. I have not read it yet, but have glanced at the first pages and have Great Expectations (or is that another story?).Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Cannot really commment about this book as it was a xmas present for somebody who just loves anything by Terry Pratchett
