This cable is advertised as compatible with Audi Music Interface, but it’s misleading. Although it has a USB connector, it does NOT read USB sticks. I connected it to the AMI port in my Audi, and while the system detects a device, it doesn’t read any MP3 files – because this cable only transmits analog AUX audio, not digital data.
If you just want to play music from your phone using a 3.5mm jack, maybe it works. But if you’re expecting to use a USB stick and control music through the MMI system – this is not the right product.

Great item. Took a little while to get the USB into the slot at first but now is working wonders. Helped to get a greater selection of tracks for driving on my skoda fabia.
