Sort of a bomb-proof solar shade that works very well in hot, hot climates by keeping sun's rays out and keeping interior areas dark and subsequently cool. Also seems to have heat retention properties during cold winter months by keeping heat inside of residence & not letting it escape out the single-pane windows so easily.
