Revell 1/96 scale model of USS Constitution

Large model and very detailed. Opened the box and examined the parts and instructions. Look forward to building her. I’ve built several other ship models in the past and the looks like one of the better kits. I especially like that it has a detailed Captain Quarters that will be revealed when the hinged section of the stern of the ship is opened up. Revelle is a excellent maker of models, fun and challenging, will take some time to completely assemble, but will look great if you be patient and follow directions.

The ship.

This is the fourth time I have tried to build this model. Started in 1971. Now with the new add on the ship will be what I always wanted it to be . Great kit good instructions, a fun build.

Wonderful detail. No flash to remove. This is the best issue of this kit I have seen. Revell got it right. Sturdy box, too.

Uss constitution

Very cool model. Lots of detail. A million pieces. Expect to take a year to finish, lots of small details and rigging to do, but worth the effort for such a cool ship.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas and he raves about the attention to detail in this model. The only downside is that I lose him to his model room for hours at a time!
