Nextar X3i GPS Receiver

* "Cheap," $65.00 brand new on e-bay w/no taxes and free shipping.
* memory card to hold pictures, etc.
* Speeding warning, street turning warning, and bar that shrinks when getting close to your turn.
* easy to use right out of the box.
Dislikes-
* The battery will not hold a charge for more than 5 minutes.
* The window bracket that holds the unit on the window is clumbersom and hard to attach the gps to.
* I have used it 3 times and the GPS screen locked up and i had to re-boot all 3 times to un-lock.
* Other GPS units allow you to type in the zip code and skip having to put the City, State, in. This one does not.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
Little support from Nextar
This needs an SD card with map data. If you lose the map data the GPS becomes useless. Nextar doesn't support this unit any longer and you will not be able to get it repaired. Instead they offer an exchange program. You send them the Nextar X3i and they give you a Nextar 4 which costs you $79. Also when you get off your route just a little, such as a gas station or store, it reroutes you off your original route. great little unit that shouldn't be over looked
while these are older units they do everything you need when driving in a car. No good for heavy truck use but in a car they are great and simple to use, great value as a second unit that is surprising durable.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
product as described, fast shipping
Product is ok... You cannot use the navigation system without the car charger. I assume the battery is no longer any good. Other than that, it's fine. I bought the product because I will be traveling out of state in a month or so...Vollständige Rezension lesen...
works great
it is just like a new gps for very little money. It appears that it takes the map card in it to work as a gps wich it had and works great.
