Not bad, but Not impressive
The sound is not bad, but basically it is not a matched tube, so the two cathode voltages are differentant and too low. It is not a big problem because there is not a big difference between right and left sound in the amplifier, but please purchase it considering that it is not a Matched tube. It seemed to have been kept for a long time when I received the goods for the first time. Compared to the previous Deltron 7AU7, there is some noise, but I do not have another 6N23P-EV, so I do not know the exact cause of the problem. Used on the output of a Audio Research Ls7 gave better results that other very well known vitange tube at 50% of the price.
This tube after 30 Hours give very wide image good detail. There is a irritating treble on the begining when the tube is new that is going to pass after many hours of work. For this it needs more than 100 HoursVollständige Rezension lesen...
