Good quality, bolt-on installation.

This truly was a bolt-on installation. Remove the tire, unscrew two bolts, bolt on the antenna mount. The real challenge is routing the cable through the rubber grommet in the door and snaking it up to the inside hole which is NOT lined up with the external hole. To get the cable up to the inside hole I cut and straightened a metal coat hanger and ran it down from the inside hole and pulled the end out the outside hole. Then I taped the cable (remove the PL259 plug first) to the end of the coat hanger and pulled it back through from the inside. The fact that the PL259 plug unscrews from this cable is a lifesaver. I cannot conceive how someone would pull a cable through this door with the PL259 plug attached to the cable. Having the PL259 unscrew from the cable is a major plus for this antenna mount.
