The Best Sensitivity in a Car Radio that I know of
After doing some research (being dissatisfied with a new Kenwood), I came across claims that this older generation radio has Super Sensitivity. I like it for that, since I use it with a travel trailer in the woods, and in that it has fairly large buttons in which you can set 6 channels/stations for AM, then in 3 FM sets you can program 6 for each of those alternative FM bands. And it has a remote control. So I can be in bed in my trailer in the woods & change channels in the night without going to the radio.
It has somewhat of an equalizer built in, so that you can taylor the sound for pitch and for speech vs music. You can't buy this new (so far as I know) in that Pioneer hasn't made it for years.
I don't know of any radio available new now that has really big buttons, like old-fashioned car radios had for so many years. Even this model doesn't have buttons that big; but bigger than the tiny buttons they seem to like to put on radios today.
Hey, somehow when I look at this radio I think of Christine (I hear you knockin but you cain't come in) -- though it never was so old as to be in a 1957-58 Plymouth Fury.Vollständige Rezension lesen
