Replacement part does the job!

This bracket was a replacement for one that broke. The original was plastic and so is this new one. This type is the only design that will work on this aluminum frame. It protrudes out into the doorway a few inches so the door can open all the way. This is the holder of the hydraulic door closer. The problem is when the door is open as far as the closer will allow and maybe a little one pushes the door open a little further. This also happens when the wind catches the door. In any case, if this piece was metal, it would last longer. This bracket is all that I found.
