Grover quality
I have 3 versions of the Gover geared 5th string tuner Chrome and am using the old 164c because it is stubbier , shorter. I have a Vega longneck with the grover tunermatic on the keypad , the ones that stick out, don't hide behind keypad and I wanted the chrome 5th to match. Why, you would have to have lived in the 60's folk times to appreciate them. The 162c just to my eyes sticks out to much. The 162c with the sleve looks better than the ones that have a number of spacer also sold as 162 c but the shaft is just to long. I do think the 164c with the screw works better, smoother turning and I think a more gradual tighten of the string.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Nice Product
The gears in my banjo's 5th tuning peg had worn out and the peg no longer would turn. I took it apart to see if I could repair it, but to no avail - the gears no longer meshed. I found this on eBay and upon installation, it performs flawlessly.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Good for the price
Although I like the quality and the looks of the tuner, I am a little surprised by the size difference from the old straight peg tuner. The new tuner is right around d a quarter inch larger in diameter. And this is a problem due to there not being an easily accessible tampered but that is the correct sixe.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
