Deca Sports gives you 10 different games to play. I've found that everyone finds at least two games they enjoy. Each game has only a few commands to learn, but when you try to learn all the movements for all the games in one day it can leave you frustrated. One of the biggest advantages of these games is that multiple players can play at the same time. Nothing better then a little family competition(?). There's not as much physical movement for the players as I would have liked to see, but the games are fun. This is a pretty good game. It is not wii sports, but in some ways I prefer it to Wii sports. First off, this is a multiplayer game, and that is what I am giving it its grade on. With a group of friends this is a fantastic game to pass the time with. Also may I add, this game is great for families or to play with your girlfriend, that is because it is simple and does not have the huge learning curve that usually turns young kids and most girls off from video games. snowboarding, gokarts, and motocross are all essentially the same game. However, the kart game plays almost the same as Mario Kart which sells for 50 dollars, minus the power ups. Soccer and basketball are very unique and can be alot of fun. Badminton, is simple yet gratifying. Curling and archery are both nice additions, though archery is too easy. Overall this game provides about 5-6 quality games which is the same amount Wii Sports provided and Wii sports was not free, it was factored into the cost of the Wii which was originally only supposed to sell for 150, also I might add this is a far better game than Wii play which only had 1 good game which was the jumping cow one.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Deca Sports (Wii, 2008)

First off, I found it peculiar that all of the professional video game sites gave this game a bad review, yet it was still selling well on ebay. So, I figured that it was still a decent game. I tried it out and decided that it was worth the money that I paid (about $12). The controls for this game on the wii are not perfect, however it can still be a fun game to play. It is certainly not a 1-to-1 experience but it gets the job done. I have not explored all of the different game modes, but I have enjoyed this game thus far. However, the other game modes will only add to the value and fun of this game. I would not play this game for countless hours, but for the price I paid and the various games and modes that it contains, it is worth the buy.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

AWESOMENESS GREAT FEATURES AND GREAT FAMILY FUN.

my children and really having a great time with it. I first bought one when they were 5 and 9 now they are 20 and 16 and we are having a ball. So glad I was able to get the Wii again.

Okay for being very cheap, but not great overall.

For a really cheap game, it's not too bad, but it is much worse than Wii Sports or Wii Sports Resort. While it is on the Wii, it doesn't take advantage of motion controls well. The controls are weird and non-intuitive. Most of the time, your motion doesn't match what you would do in the real sport. For some sports, like figure skating, that makes sense--you can't really do the same motions as you would when you figure skate. But with others it doesn't make sense at all. For badminton, you are supposed to "swing" (it is really just flicking your wrist) when the birdie is at the top of its flight and not when it reaches you. For curling, you do push the controller forward to throw the rock, but the of the rock isn't determined by how quickly you push it forward, but by where a constantly moving bar is at during the exact moment you move the controller forward. The graphics are so-so, and I feel like I prefer the simpler graphics of Wii Sports. The controls are also sometimes unresponsive and miss when you move the remote.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

A good selection of games, that aren't intimidating for a beginner or a mild sports lover. The use of the controller is relatively easy for each game

Deca Sports is an Excellent Buy

I have purchased similar games and have not been as happy. Some games do not allow you to pick the actual sport that you would like to play, but this game is different. It offers you an array of sports and they are easy to play as well as entertaining. My friends and family love it and have been getting hours of enjoyment out of it. This is definitely a smart buy for the person who loves to play different sports on the Wii. I would highly recommend this to anyone. This sports game has Beach Volleyball, Kart Racing, Soccer, Curling, Basketball, Supercross, Snowboard Cross, Figure Skating, Archery, and Badminton. Deca Sports (Wii, 2008)

It is a very good game that is fun for the family and friends, especially curling! It takes a little time to get used to the controls for many of the games, but once you do, you will enjoy playing. Good not too bad but would like to see improvements on curling and Mii use

It is a good Fun Multiplayer Multi-Games but I would have added the nun-chuck for additional control on the curling .I got this for the curling game and hope to find a better version of it some time .I would also like to add that this and more Wii games should use the Mii characters. Great fun for the Wii!

We like that there are 10 new games to pick from. We're big fans of curling and the archery. I still have to try a few of the other sports out. I found the figure skating hard (because I'm not good with the nun-chuck!), but my fiance was able to skate around quite easily.

I think if you can get it at a good price, you'll be happy with the game. It is a lot of fun, especially if you've got a group of people coming over.
