Car Mount TechMatte MagGrip Air Vent Magnetic Universal Car Mount Holder

Good product, does what it is intended to do!

I have 2 of these now, one in each vehicle, it holds the phone in place very well.

I do wish that you could adjust the angle of the phone while it is attached to the car mount, the phone will be at the same angle of your vent that you use and the screen can be hard to see sometimes in direct sunlight.

I was also concerned about the heat / AC coming out of the vent directly onto the phone, when I had the AC on the other day, my phone was ice cold when I removed it from the mount. I was concerned about condensation when bringing it back into a warmer environment.

So to fix this issue, I cut a piece of boxboard (from a cereal box) just a little bigger than my phone and glued it to the back of the magnet/mount and the boxboard has solved that problem.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Good product for the price

Good item. Works well but sometimes the car mount comes out when you grab the phone. And on bad bumps, my phone has fallen off before. Still, a good but not great product, and one I would probably buy again.Vollständige Rezension lesen

i love this phone mount

This phone mount is great, comes with 2 magnet sticker things, both peel off to stick to back of phone or inside a case. I just stuck them both in the back of my non see through case without peeling the stickers and it still attracts like a champ to the car mount which has a rubbery feel so it doesnt slid around while bendin corners. i just turned the vent it covers completely off, obviously you dont want your phone directly in front of the vent with the heater on, might go kaboom!Vollständige Rezension lesen

Finally a Product that works!

Not all cars are the same and finding that right Mount can be done by trial and error. The only problem is spending the money to find the product. I love the magnetic mounts the best...No Adjusting or re adjusting knobs to fit the phone. Besides, I like the quick grab and go when I leave the car. The Car vent mount works best for me since I do rideshare. The phone heats up really bad while using the Map app but since it's placed right on the vent, the cool air keeps it from over heating which can cause a lot of lag on the phone. Just dont freeze the phone if using the AC or burn it up if using the heater. But by far this is the best mount.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Easy to set up. Placed the metal plate inside my Iphone case. Plugged in the magnet to air vent. DONE.

Does the job

This item does the job. Magnet is strong and holds my phone. I just wish the clip would fit a bit tighter over the vents. That said, the clip hasn't fallen out while driving, but when I take the phone off, it does tend to slide out with the phone which is just a nuisance. easy to use, but doesnt work very well

The holder is easy to insert and the tightening mechanism is fairly simple, but it will not tighten enough to keep the holder in place on rough roads.

Simple yet effective.

Purchased for wife's iPhone 5c which has a plastic case. The furnished plate fits unobtrusively in her case to allow the magnet to work as designed. She loves it!
