Not only for holding up bikes
Bought these to hang a small set of indoor ladders up in the attic stairwell, found they were very strong when screwed into the wall and they were able to hold my work mate out of the way as well.

They are not really suitable for hanging a bike on, too small. An internal hook dimension would help, otherwise they are as described, a hook!
