Motorbike Chain multi tool
The proper DID multi tool is extremely expensive this is a budget version of it and so don't expect it to be as good.
The tool does work but if you want to put the split link type of chain joiner on your bike,( mine is a Versys 300-X ) so you can take the chain on and off to clean it after off road use, the back plate supplied with this tool isn't deep enough to press the split link together and leave clearance for the circlip to go on I had to glue two thin plates to it to get it to work.
As an occasional tool for the DIY'er it's a good buy but if you're a professional bike mechanic earning a living in this trade pay the money and get the real thing. Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Good value but tricky to use
Did the job but a bit fiddly and imprecise, being an engineer I took the time to ensure everything lined up, it would be easy for someone less skilled o get it wrong

Must have for any biker
This is a great tool, sturdy and strong.
Very easy to use, you will also need a 27mm spanner or adjustable and a 19mm spanner or ratchet and socket.

Strong and worked well.
This tool was a lot cheaper than the original and I successfully used it to:
1. Split the old chain (after grinding off the rivit heads as recommended)
2. Clamp the side plate of the new joining link in place
3. Flare the rivits to secure th link side plate

Not brittle like the cheaper versions
Very good tool, im not one for reviews usually but after buying the cheaper versions previously this one is a lot more durable.. would defo recommend. Very good product
