Versatile - makes me smile!
This stuff can be used for so many repair jobs that I feel my house would fall down without it! It's like modelling clay to start with, so it's easy to shape and apply. But as it sets, it becomes really strong even when it simply sits on smooth surfaces like plastic, ceramic and metal - it grips and becomes a part of them. It's waterproof, so I was able to fix a hole in a plastic shower panel. And you can smooth it (before it dries) using water so that you get a very neat finish. Perfect, I could not manage without it now.
I have been using this for a multitude of repair/cosmetic jobs in both the car and house.
Easy to kneed to mix and then apply having a consistency of plasticine, then using a wet finger/spatula, very easy to smooth and clean up. Once hard, it has a really smooth surface, and takes painting well.
I originally bought it to rebuild an old 1980's dashboard that had been butchered to fit a CB by a previous owner, and the results were perfect, and lasted for the remainder of the cars life.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Very useful stuff...
Unlike Unibond quick setting epoxy putty, which hardens in 5 mins - which is great for applications where you're more concerned about bonding/filling asap - Milliput is perfect for situations where you need more time to shape the putty, rather than just use it to bond or fill.
And you can also use water with it to help you get the shaping you require, which is very useful indeed; much like moulding clay, I guess.

Plasticine for grown-ups!
First used this product about 35 years ago at work and was impressed then. Forgot about it for the best part of the 30 years in between but was reminded of it on a car forum recently.
Bought some as an experiment to see if it would do what i needed - repairing a trim panel around the mounting holes which had disintegrated with age. Cut two equal lengths of the putty and hardener, mixed and massaged them together just like Plasticine then pushed and pulled and tweaked them into shape in the holes, using a wetted (with water) coffee-stirring stick from a well-known, Scottish sounding American burger chain.
Gave me a nice smooth finish, the panel was black and so was the Milliput i bought so all i needed to do was tidy up with a file, emery tape and drill the holes.
Maybe not a perfect repair (due to my skills, rather than the product) but is strong enough to hold quite a heavy trim panel. Success with that one has spurred me on to repair another more visible trim panel and having learned a couple of techniques from the first one has given me a much improved repair.

Marvellous Stuff
Just what was wanted. Used initially, to repair a penknife that had been accidentally dropped, shattering it's black horn handle. Broken, missing bits filled in with black Milliput and surface grained with a pointed implement before setting - solid repair and looks pretty much as good as new.

I purchased this to repair my mirror on my car as someone had hit it and taken a chunk out, I did not expect it to work but thought I would give it a try.
It was very easy to use and easy to mould into place I smoothed it off with a wet cloth after it has started to set.
The finish is great you can hardly notice where the mirror was broken and I only did a quick job, if I would of taken more time it would be perfect.

An excellent product when used as directed.
It's good exercise for the fingers kneading the two parts together and it does need to be done as recommended. Once ready there is not much time to put it in place before it starts to harden and becomes too stiff to work. It does become very hard once cured and is as good as it claims to be. Successfully stiffened a plastic object
Was used to reinforce a black plastic item and Milliput’s surprisingly dense black colour and slightly lustrous/shiny finish (when patted into shape as it is quite sticky) married well with the object it was being applied to. I love Milliput putty
Thank you for the super speedy delivery. I love milliput putty, it is brilliant for repairs and also for crafting. You can smooth it down with water and once dry (4 hours I think) you can sand it. Be careful to wrap it up again to stop it drying out.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Great stuff!
I used this to repair a broken black plastic interior car part. It mixed easily and moulded easily (like plasticine), add a little water as you go to keep it smooth. Can be filed after, and went rock hard. Great product...great value!Vollständige Rezension lesen...
