Extremely thin

As an adult I look at this and see it’s very thin, likely to snap in 2 easily !! The chain snaps in place, having used this type of chain before assumed no problem. It was very difficult and felt like it would break but it didn’t. As an adult I wouldn’t buy again BUT this was bought for my daughter who absolutely loves it !!
