The plastic is very weak, and worse when hot.
This is my second holder, the same as the first, but this time the plastic is far weaker and barely holds two potatoes, let alone four. When cooked, the holder was very hot and bent whilst transferring the pots to a plate. The first one lasted a couple of years, but I doubt this one will last until Christmas. Did I get a duff unit?
The spindle was too thin to lock into the base, otherwise it was OK. The holder loaded with potatoes had to be carried by lifting it by the base.

Badly designed, not fit for purpose.
The handle to lift the potato platform was so loose that the potato dropped to the floor. It is badly designed and not fit for purpose.
