Just What I Needed
I bought this for the bracket, not the fan. I own a Dell XPS 8930 PC, and I learned the bracket from the Alienware snaps right in to the front of my computer. And it does. The fan is a Dell OEM unit, and not the quietist, so I replaced it with a Noctua NF-P12 redux-1300 PWM, Quiet Fan. It's the same part I bought to replace the OEM top exhaust fan. Huge difference. Perfect for XPS 8930
I bought this to add an intake fan to my XPS 8930 after reading reviews that it would work with the computers case. It snaps into place and works like a charm. I can't rate the fan because I didn't use the one that it shipped with and used a new one I bought. OEM fan with bracket--gets the job done.
XPS 8910, 8920, and 8930 are known for poor ventilation, so adding this case fan will help. Easy install since the bracket is included.

Alienware cooling fan/bracket for Dell XPS 8930.
The cooling fan/bracket snapped right in the lower bay of the computer. Should help circulate fresh air around the graphics card and help keep the CPU cooler too. Very quiet fan.

No metal bracket. Just plastic housing.
Fan doesn't come with metal bracket. Only comes with fan housing. If you're replacing a 90mm fan with a 120 for a xps 8930 this will not work for the exhaust fan b/c you need the bracket.
