Measured the pins overall diameter and lengths using calibrated engineering verniers and micrometers.

Pins supplied are 0.002 thousands of an inch within the exact the same dimensions as pins fitted to a brand new TRW caliper mount bracket pins measured across two new caliper mount brackets, they are also made from OEM original specified 10.9 hardened steel.

This pin kit supplied is a perfect replacement for the two lower pins originally fitted to a brand new TRW caliper carrier bracket, and others manufacturers; that have the two lower pins fitted with a staggered swagged design, in so much as they are larger at the pins nut head and gradually decrease in size to a smaller pin diameter to the opposite end.

This design style is debatable on it's intended purpose, however is mainly supposed to attempt to reduce or eliminate possible brake squeal if any.

However this leaves alot of play in the pin movement on the caliper carrier, causing more issues than it cures, and is likely one reason the buyer is replacing the sliding pins in the first place.

Be aware that if your caliper carriers are significantly old and worn already, replacing the pins may improve but not cure your problem as the caliper carriers bores that the pins traverse down will also be worn, so you may need to change the carrier.

The kit is supplied with all of the required accessories, grease, pin bolts and boots and all these are of good quality, pricing at time of purchase is very reasonable.
