Ugly Stick GX2 7’ ML Baitcasting

Cons:
The rod is certainly not light (overall weight of the rod) and poorly balanced. Maybe the 6’ and 6’6 models are better ....
Workmanship - so to speak - is very average.
Wide diameter guides (too big).
Quality control leaves much to be desired: second guide from the top twisted to the side (not misaligned , twisted!) - fortunately not too difficult to straighten with a smooth jaw plier ; reel seat not very well aligned with the first guide.
Pros:
It seems very sturdy indeed, almost too much for a ML.
