LP - Maracas

Not quite what I expected

These are very loud and brittle sounding. One might say they sound "plasticy". Another issue is they say very specifically that they are a matched pair - I guess it's in the ear of the listener. One maracas is one third full and the other is about one quarter full so you get a high pitch a low pitch, I guess that's what they mean by matched - hmmmm!
