Nice little set of good quality paints

I have bought several of these for some children's art workshops as they are better quality than the type you get in craft stores but not too expensive either.

The colours are nice but the reason I dropped a star is because I think it would be better to have a black or paynes grey instead of white. Who uses white in watercolour?! It doesn't work!

Nice and compact, brush is quite small but good for detail and three palette areas for mixing. I'd recommend.

Good little set for adults to use that are sketching on site or attending art classes and don't want to lug a lot of stuff too.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Superb Travel Watercolour Set

Thoroughly enjoying this wee paint set. I have previously used very cheap brand watercolours and this set is incomparable - just SO much better. Size is nice and compact which is exactly what I wanted for taking out and about with me. Plus, I can source replacement half pans for any that I used up. brilliant compact travel set with a range of excellent colours

Handy compact set of colours for taking outdoors to complete a watercolour painting but versatile as I use it indoors at workshops too. The colours go on pale and when dry become lovely subtle vibrant shades. There is a great selection of colours in the 12 set which can be mixed into a full and extensive range to complete your painting. I love the little fold up brush which is ideal for colouring sketches. Cheap and great quality and it takes up a tiny space in your bag. The box even has space for mixing your colours. Great little set of watercolours

Great little set of watercolours. I had no repeats of colour, but no black. Easily mixed so no big problem. Its great for taking out and about and for sketching with in my sketchbook. The brush you get with is indeed very small so hard to fill a bigger area but perfect for smaller details. The pans are separate from the case so easily refilled and cleaned. Shame the mixing lid doesn't clip off for a quick wash though. I would recommend this set and I would buy again. Especially at the price from this seller.Vollständige Rezension lesen

basic set of watercolour tablets

After my initial confusion I was pleased to receive my sketchers pocket box of watercolours. They are good professional quality and well worth the price I paid. The range of colours is sufficient for most types of paintings.

My first watercolour paint purchase

This was my first ever watercolour paint purchase and I’m pleasantly surprised. I’m only a beginner so this is all I need to get started. It’s good quality but not expensive which is great. However, I was slightly disappointed on how small it was. Though, this is at no fault of the seller. I would recommend to beginners who need something easy and affordable to start with. Great set for mixing (see attached photo)

This set has great quality colors and they all mix really well with each other. You can mix these to get a lot of colors, see the attached photo for swatches of them all mixed. As you can see, most major colors are covered by mixing these. It's a little weak in vibrant purples, which you can solve by replacing the white half-pan with another half-pan since you're not going to need that one. Winsor and Newton sell their cotman half-pans really cheap, so feel free to find a ready made purple; or a blue or red that will help you achieve the colors you want.

These paints are insanely cheap for how much quality you're getting, so I really recommend them to anyone!Vollständige Rezension lesen

One of the best travel sets around

There are two of these travel sets in the Cotman range (one even smaller and lighter) both are excellent for their price. Not Artist quality but probably the best student colours on the market anywhere. A great quality set for beginners.

Cotman are a well known manufacturer of artists materials and this half pan set is perfect for either the beginner or for compact outdoor location use. It is of student quality which is ideal for most situations, whereas professional quality are not only much more expensive but best suited to the needs of a professional artist. Cheaper palettes can be found but are often are harder and more difficult to wet producing a weaker colour on the paper. Colour pans here are soft and quite dense being easily mixed from this basic palette. I recommend them to anyone who wants quality at an amazing budget price.Vollständige Rezension lesen
