Great, classic kit, comparable to modern offerings, but usually available much less expensive.
Classic 1/48 scale Tamiya kit of the very famous Japanese World War Two-era fighter. The kit was first released in 1973 but details and molding have held up very well.
Includes markings for 5 Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft including 1 from the aircraft carrier Akagi as it appeared during the Pearl Harbor attack:

The fuselage and wings have the both recessed and fine raised panel lines.
The engine is just the forward face.

Great value for your money.
This is a typical Tamiya model kit, fine recessed panel lines, very accurate and with very good decals. Parts fit is excellent.

All the parts fit well, with just a little bit of sanding for fit. I enjoyed building this one and I would recommend it with high marks.

Bought this as a gift for my nephew.
Don't know a thing about models except my nephew likes them! It looked like it was very realistic and well made.
Excellent value for the money
Having built this kit before I can say it's really good kit it goes together really easily.
Would highly recommend it.
