Best item I have bought off eBay.
This is an excellent well made tool,I have been using it to dig out bamboo roots and it is a lot stronge than I thought it would be,couldn't have done the job without it.

One of the Three Best Gardening Tools.
This tool - the mini pick axe with fibre glass handle is a must for all serious gardeners. The same applies to its sister tool, the mini mattock.
On the mini pick axe the point is most useful for weeding in gravel or on hardened allotment paths, etc especially in dealing with buttercup root 'crowns', which are so pervasive . The mattock end is useful in loosening packed earth borders, and also for general weeding.
BUY BOTH, ( the mini pickaxe and the mini mattock. )

So easy to dig up roots with no effort, wish I'd bought one years ago. Was wondering whether to get the long version but glad I didn't as it is much easier to use and carry

Made an old ladies job 100% easier
I started a small project taking up my patio to put some turf down as I've adopted a small dog. So I thought how hard can it be. 😱. As I'm digging down I found what look like a small house underneath. Brick after brick after brick. A hammer and sheer power wasn't doing it. I'm 75 fittish , but have never done anything like this before. Certainly never used a pick axe.So I came across the Mini Mattock. Wow what a revatation .
It's small and strong and I zoomed through the project. So glad I bought it it made my life easy very easy.
I do highly recommend it.

Very Robust Tool.
A very strong and well made tool..I only got it today and have not used it yet ....but should be ideal for digging river beds the next time i go gold mineing.

Quality correlates with price - perfectly reasonable
Comes disassembled, ie head and handle separate and only held together by friction. Metal cast is 'scruffy', but this is not unreasonable and overall quality is entirely commensurate with the very reasonable price.
