Works like a charm. If you've ever tried using an XLR to 1/4" cable you'll notice a loss of 60% of your gain and less frequency range.

Works well & produces proper impedance matching without noise ; using a cheaper XLR to 1/4” without a transformer like this will deliver weak signal.
