Great Book
I purchased this book over 10 years ago when I 1st saw it on QVC. I loved the recipes. I brought a send copy for my brother because he love to cook. Just like grandma used to make
I am a "northern, southern" cook. People always ask me if I came from the south. I was one of those kids that hung around the kitchen watching my mom and grandma cook. I still cook like them, some of their recipes I have improved upon but I know that they were always better cooks than me. Some of their recipes I didn't get a chance to learn but I have found several of them in Mama Dips Kitchen. I made the lemon cream pie for Thanksgiving, my family fell in love with it. I just bought 5 more of these books as Christmas gifts for my children and one for my sister. Thinking about going back & getting a couple more for my grandchildren that are striking out on my own. Mama Dips got great recipes.
This is about real southern cooking! The recipes are easy to follow and the the food turns out tasty and loved (shrimp salad).

My favorite Soul Food Cookbook
I have many cookbooks but as far as soul food goes this is my absolute favorite. If you were to buy only one soul food cookbook this would definitely be the one to buy.
