Superb upgrade for Microserver Gen8
Very simple to install. Recognised straight away and worked instantly. My server struggled to transcode 1080p Plex streams while doing other things. Microserver Gen8 CPU upgrade

Cheap alternative to I7s
Put this in a server that was running a I3 and it is noticeably snappier even thought the peak Ghz speed was a bit lower. Runs super cool and the packaging was adequate.

great buy for extra performance in gen8 microserver

Great Microserver Upgrade
This is an excellent upgrade for the HPE Gen8 Microserver, offers around 250% the performance of the original Celeron G1610T, with only 10 watt extra TDP.
Well worth it!

This is the best upgrade available for the HP MicroServer Gen 8 without having to uprate the heat sinks and cooling
