AMD's Piledriver the last AM3+ processor!

AMD's Piledriver update to the Bulldozer CPU architecture gives good performance increase and fixes some major Bulldozer design flaws. It is the last processor that will fit in an AM3+ socket! It will work fine with your old Bulldozer DDR3 1600 memory though it can run faster DDR3 1866 memory.

8 Cores & Fast

i love all amd CPUs. They all perform well and this one is stable and fast. I love the prices of the pre-owned chips. They perform very well in a brand new MB. It is old technology but the chips is so reliable.Vollständige Rezension lesen

This a comparison between the I5 and FX-8320

Although This CPU has low max temps, if you use a good heatsink This processor with not come close to max core temp.

1.1GHz overlock on water from base base clock

I mean gettting a 1.1Ghz overclock from base clock is absurd so....a billion stars.I had a phenom II x2 545 and wanted to upgrade my system this was the upgrade. I payed a good price would recommend.

Great price for an upgrade for older game rig.

I was able to pop this into my computer and it started right up and has been performing well. Even better than my 6300 and that chip was a great workhorse that I may put into another rig.

Great Upgrade

I built this PC when these processors were just coming out but could only afford a 6 core. Finally, after years, I had a chance to upgrade.
This is not the fastest processor in the world but made a world of difference in my old PC. It is now loaded with 32 gigs of ram and the 8 core processor. I couldn't be happier unless I was given a new one.Vollständige Rezension lesen

It works just as good as the AMD FX8520 did that I replaced

This is a very good performing chip it does really well with my 1050 ti I am impressed wit its performance

Not up to Speed

This product was easy to install onto my motherboard but it operates slower than the quad-core processor that I replaced. I figured this 8 core would be faster than the 4 core processor but unfortunately does not. Im stuck with it now but it is a lesson learned.Vollständige Rezension lesen
