AMD 3 GHz Quad-Core (HDXB95WFK4DGI) Processor

Inexpensive upgrade to help make an older computer run Windows 10 just fine

While AMD made faster 4-cores for a socket AM3 this one is rated at 95 watts and was the highest wattage rating recommended for my application in a HP SFF originally made in 2011. Now has Windows 10 on it, and it is plenty fast. Sleep does not work correctly, however, even after BIOS mods and a bunch of other stuff. But not bad for 2008 technology!Vollständige Rezension lesen

Works for dell inspiron 546s

Just remove the old chip and inserted this new one. Really easy to insert. Didn't come with heatsink but I had some left over from an old build. Really noticable difference on loading and startup speed.Vollständige Rezension lesen

Arrived early, but some of pins were bent.

The back row of pins were bent, making installation take longer than usual. No doubt it happened when removing the CPU from the testing slot. Other than the one issue. It works great!

Thank you so much! It came with thermal paste, which was unexpected. Clean and packaged nicely. Was a good cheap upgrade for a computer for my younger neice to teach her on.

Great old and reliable powerful CPU!

What a find! This even out performs my main computer. Couple this with an SSD and a Linux OS, and it blazing fast!
