Simple installation works perfectly

Having used one of these on a Land Rover with good results I bought this for a misfiring Riley RME as I just can't trust newly made condensers any more.
Installation was straight forward following clear included instructions only required a little filling of the center hole of the black magnet holder as it's a close fit & I changed some the wiring connectors to make a tidy fit for my particular car.
Even with all this it only took about 25 mins to install
The results are excellent with instant starting, smooth running and no more failing condenser or points to worry about.
If it ever does fail it's easily reverted to points you just need a screwdriver and keep your old base plate / points set up in the tool kit.
Given that a new set of points & condenser can cost £25 and a 70 year-old distributor is likely to oil mist your points or the shaft & lobes are likely to be out of spec this eliminates all these potential faults at a stroke.
This was one of the first things I fitted to my old Land Rover 2.25 engine 10 years ago so had no hesitation in getting one for the Riley 1.5 & I expect the same results Vollständige Rezension lesen
