Badia Fajita Seasoning

The new RED version has TOO MUCH chili powder, the original blend was perfect, the new blend taste and smells just like red hot chili powder, it over powers the remaining spices. The previous version had a foil freshness seal, the new one has nothing but a thin plastic collar for tamper resistance.
My summary is the original was fresh, flavorable and well preserved.
The new version is too dang hot and not protected from anything but a nuisance shopper.
So go ahead and mix up some granulated garlic,onion and some other herbs you like and spare yourself the grief.
The picture shows the new on top and the original on the bottom with lot numbers.
If you like a blistering hot fajita, then get this mixture, because they don't make the original any more.
