A must read for aficionados of historical naval fiction; set onshore and offshore

An excellent historical tale. This story is detailed , compelling and informative. I would thoroughly recommend reading it to any fans of naval and historical novels. I enjoyed the O'Brian Master and Commander series, and this has the same level of detail, along with a more balanced view of conflict as it ocurred in past days.
