A compelling read
This book has been a brilliant read. At times sad, at times horrific, at tines funny. It weaves the art of undertaking, especially embalming against a background of 1950s and 1960s prejudice and the horror of Aberfan.

Stunning read
This was a fantastic book.. possibly my best read in a long time. Deals with the dark subjects of the Aberfan disaster, embalming and PTSD without being maudlin. Totally recommend this book.
