Well designed and well made tongs.
Compared to other whip tongs on general sale these tongs do what they are supposed to do ie. hold a dish of molten metal firmly. They are well designed and made to grip the melting dish firmly at four well spaced points on the dish's rim. The last thing you want to happen is for a dish of molten metal to become detached from the tongs as you pour the metal into a mould! If you're into melting metal this one will make your life easier. Works perfectly! Easy to hold while warming the metal. Pouring the molten metal is easy as well.

Best whip tong and ceramic crucible .
I can’t praise this set enough . The crucible is great quality and the Tong handle lay flat when holding the crucible , ( believe me other makes often don’t ) .
