Pod like with a strong fan,solid, with a number of setting for most appications,it rotates as well,which covers the room if required,energy saving as stated,so very economical in use,this is our second one and well happy.It did not come with a remote,as we didnt mind as it stays in the kitchen anyway. So quiet

Super Meaco cooler

After seeing this fan on one of the shopping channels I searched EBay and I am more than satisfied with the performance and what this small can can do. Well worth the money and well recommended
