Review and building the Glencoe U S S Oregon
A reissued older plastic kit that remains in good standing in today's market. It is an easy kit to assemble and the plastic parts fit well. A novice modeler may have some difficulty with assembling some portions, but "Google" help with images and videos will help you through. For a person who has been modeling for a while, this is an excellent kit and for an advanced modeler, the Oregon may be turned into a museum piece, especially with aftermarket items. For help, the web has numerous "Review and Build" videos on the Oregon. It was a fun build and the end result is very nice. The seller I purchased it from on e-Bay was fast in shipping and the kit was exactly as stated. Both kit and acquiring the model on e-Bay were a delightful experience.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Worth every penny.
This is an older model kit. So there was very little flash on the pieces to trim and/or file. And there were no warped parts. That is a level quality that is increasingly rare.

USS Oregon Battleship

USS Oregon in 1/225 scale
Older kit but still fine. Parts fit well. Turrets rotate. Interesting turn of century ship design. Not many kits of that era available, though a few have recently appeared.
