If your Nikon doesn't have inbuilt GPS and you would like the ability to automatically set GPS coordinates to your photos then this unit may be what you need. Fairly straight forward to use, lightweight and compact. Can sit on the flash mount or clip to your camera strap. Takes a while to establish the first connection with satellites but once connection is established (as indicated by a status light) you can basically forget it is there as it operates in the background interfacing with your camera through the supplied data cable.
