Just what I needed

I bought the Dorsi-Lite to help manage my achilles tendinosis. I use it at bed time as a night splint. Compared to a larger boot, this product is lighter, more comfortable, and I am able to walk while wearing it. It is also small enough that it packs easily when travelling.

Perfect Solution for my drop foot

Great product with some adjustment. Throw away the neoprene straps it comes with and use a velcro elastic compression strap to attach to your leg. No foot strap is needed with lace up shoes. The shoes hold the device in place. This gives the AFO a much lower profile. Trim the compression strap to approx 18 inches so it wraps around your leg twice. The elastic is more breathable than the neoprene, and it stretches slightly when walking allowing for a more natural gait. To use these: Put you shoe on, slide the AFO under the shoe's tongue, lace the shoe, then wrap the elastic strap around your leg. I wear these with dress shoes, running shoes, hiking shoes. I spray paint them flat black so they are more discreet. (tape the velcro strips first) I also trim the thin velcro strips on the AFO top side to the width of the elastic straps so my pants don't snag on the exposed velcro. I remove the strips on the lower part since I don't use the foot strap. I wish they would make these in all black, and all white.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Leg Support

Best product we have found for drop foot. Much better design than the big foot supports out there. Just wish you could make them in skin colour so they look even more discreet

Best drop foot product

I bought my first pair in August they lasted me till this year after I reinforced them a few times .....now I got a fresh pair and reinforcement before I start using them in August this year...I'm still on my old ones just beating them up a lil more ;)Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Excellent device for drop foot

This product has been a blessing to me. I have a drop foot due to polio in my right leg. My foot was constantly tripping me up, and I could have fallen and injured myself. I have had several very expensive braces made to go inside my shoes over the last several years. None of them worked because they were so hard and uncomfortable. I felt like my foot was in a vice-grip. This little foot support is my miracle. The only negative thing I have noticed is that the fabric for the straps is of a lesser quality than they were when I first started ordering them. Waste of money

I was so excited to get this because I've had foot drop for 23 years due to a horrible car accident... this product is cheaply made. Don't waste your money on it.

doesn't work

Was so hopeful but soooo disappointed. I just wanted to walk barefoot again. Without shoes, the velcro straps do not hold beyond a few steps. And it does not fit into shoes. Overpriced in any event. Cheap $15 non-custom ankle orthorses are a better.Vollständige Rezension lesen...
