Makura Buckwheat Hull Pillow

Tiny but awesome

I was concerned because the largest of these are 1/3 the size I typically use and people said it is loud or stinky but the noise is literally the hulls knocking about when you first lay on it and possibly if you roll over in middle of night but I have not had to toss and turn because the support and comfort is here. It is not hard like some pillows that actually hurt your ears from pressure, and it is not so heavy that your arm falls asleep if you cradle it. Smell is like wheat or earthy but I imagine that pillow cases can mask that if you have some weird allergies. I don't actually notice it and I been looking for it. I bought two thinking if I needed bigger that u could combine but so far....no need. Very pleased.Vollständige Rezension lesen

buckwheat pillow

The pillow wasn't a normal sized pillow it was the size of a travel size pillow. I tried to sleep on it one night and the next morning my whole back of my head and my neck hurt all over. I have a neck and back injury, I had to toss my old pillow which I had for years but couldn’t find another buckwheat pillow any where in a store, this pillow works very well, although it was smaller than I thought it works Wonderfully and now I can get a good nights sleep. Great Pillow!

It stinks.

I would give it a great review. It is very comfortable. But it stinks like hell! I hope that wears off soon. It stinks so badly it hurts my eyes and throat. Weeks later, it still stinks. Smells like bug spray. I doubt I will ever use it.Vollständige Rezension lesen
