New life to old gps with this battery

This battery is just what I needed to bring new life to my old gps. Like many folks in this post covid apocalypse I find my trying to save a buck or two. I wanted a gps for my motorcycle but didn’t want a brand new high priced piece. I decided to try and replace my old gps battery. At first this was daunting also too because many places wanted more than 25 bucks just for the battery and another 20 to change it. Then I took a shot and looked on eBay. I am glad I did. The only catch is to make sure you have the tools needed for the task. I am a tool guy and have many tools for all types of jobs. I didn’t have a driver or bit small enough to open my gps. Works great, but getting the Garman apart was a bit of a pain. You'll need to glue or tape the battery in place to keep it from rattling around inside your GPS.

The battery worked just like the factory one. I used a new piece of double stick tape to mount it down.
