Brilliant books to help early readers

Really pleased with these books - my granddaughter (aged just 5) is missing out on her 'reception' year at school and mum and dad were struggling with home schooling - in particular reading. I bought this collection to help and I am so pleased I did with the aid of 'rewards' my granddaughter is now very happy to sit down and read - to anyone who will listen. Classic readers based on keywords

Classic stories of Peter and Jane.
These books do not follow the modern phonics teaching and instead introduce keywords.
I have found is good in combination with the modern phonics learning, but later in the process after many digraphs and tricky words have already been learnt towards the end of reception.

Easy reading for beginners

Not to be missed

Ladybird Key Words reading books

We bought a couple of these books to help with our 5 year olds school reading. She was struggling with the school books as distracted by the illustrations. We found these repetitive word style books work better for her. So we bought whole collection from 1a to 12c

my son has struggled with the issues Biff and Kipper books however we have both found these much easier to manage. My child is certainly much more confident with these by far.
