The nail on flanges were half the normal size reducing the space required for settling. The locking mechanism is fragile. This is not a CSA product. Only time will tell how well the butyl will hold out. The windows slide easily and the weatherstripping makes good contact. The windows are satisfactory for the garage they are installed in.
