Gator grip handle is junk

I purchased this handle to replace a bent handle on a vintage shimano bantam reel.
This handle is a joke. First I had to file the inside so it would fit on the drive shaft. Yes it is the correct size but the machining of the opening is not flat but convexed where it will not fit on.
Second the nut that comes with the handle would not completely thread on to the handle shaft. I could not even use the old nut with it because the retainer plate will not fit over the old nut.
Lastly the knobs on this handle is sad at the least. The rigid piece in the knob does not even run the length of the knob. The outter edge will squeeze down with no effort.
Even though made in the USA, this thing is junk.
