Benchmark of tires

Without a doubt, Grand Prix 4000 S2's earn their reputation for being fast. GP4000's will instill great confidence in the corners and you can haul ass on the descents without worry. I have read multiple tire reviews that use Grand Prix's as the benchmark to compare all other tires, very few come close to meeting the same performance. My only caveat is in their tread life, I rode a pair for about 1500 miles and started getting flats one after another. The tires have tire wear indicators which still showed life left but I swapped them out. Maybe these tires are the race day type and not so much for touring.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Great tire and durable

I have been using these tires on my tri bike for triathlons and always been satisfied. They are very durable and can take the road debris with no blow outs. A little tough at first installing but I wear rubber gloves for more grip to get on over rim.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

This is a original Continental Grand Prix 4000s Black Chili 700x23 tire that was well kept and in new condition. I had great success using these tires in the past.
