Excellent. Low cost way to improve signal strength and download speed.

I bought one of these a few weeks ago. Found the direction of my provider's mast using mastdata website. Mounted it outside the window on the window frame pointing in the correct direction and fed the wires through the opening window. The rubber seals allow enough room not to damage the wire.
I got a slight increase in download speed so I was happy. BUT what I did not realise was that I had to select "external antenna" in the set up for the router. I have now done this and my Download speed has DOUBLED! It is important that the antenna setting is changed in your settings. Now very pleased with my purchase. Brief test didn't work

Very disappointed.

Possibly under ideal circumstances and put in the right place it could work, but no manual was included. Using it indoors, connected to four different Huawei modems, I got no signal at all, whereas the USB-dongle modems themselves without the antenna plugged in did get 1 bar 3G at least, and the ZTE-150 (mobile wifi AP with sim slot) gets 1-2 4G bars, but 'No service' when this antenna is plugged in. This when the antenna was hanging outside the house, only meters from the roof mount antennas from rfsupplier that work just fine. The whole point with this was to get an antenna lower where it's not a lightning rod.

On the upside, it did come with two sets of antenna connectors to screw onto the tips, which was good since the two modems had slightly different diameter on the antenna connectors. Oddly enough, all the modems worked fine with the same connectors on the rfsupplier antennas, no need to switch out on _those_ cables.

A test might be to snip off part of the connectors, in case they were too long so that only ground but not the antenna-tip center reached in to the modem jack. Did this. Tried shortening the TS9 connector a little to let the antenna pin push further out. Didn't help.

Makes a great difference

Use it with my USB dongle in a stone house. With the antenna by the window I get full coverage instead of as before low speed and dropped connection

Looks better then it works

Don't know if it was just me, but the signal strength was appallingly bad and a waste of time and effort. Throw it in the bin.

Made no difference

Would have been great if only it worked! tried in two separate locations with no difference to signal.

It does what it say on box got much better signal 87% when done test each live video with out it freezing up very impressed

Bumped up the router by a bar :)

Added about 5mbps to 4g speed on three network, really happy with it!
