Matchbox P-47D - Francis Gabreski

I love the P-47, and this particular camouflage scheme flown by Francis S. Gabreski. I’ve seen these Matchbox models years ago in stores, but they are no longer being produced.
The particular model I purchased arrived within a week, and I expected it to have been displayed at some point then placed back in the original packaging due to the “Like New” status, but it apparently has never been opened. Matchbox Collectibles airplane collection is very realistic diecast product.

Great value. Realistic matte paint job, quality metal components, printed insignia decals. I like it better than many of the more expensive Corgi brands.
