Very useful see through storage
I didn’t realise I had so many threads. Storing them all together like this makes it very easy to find the right colour and type of thread.
I have put the matching bobbin under the thread reel so these can also be easily found.
My only gripe is that I would like the label to be attached in a way that makes it easier to remove and not leaves lots of sticky stuff behind.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

great storage bin
I was trying to find a solution for my growing stash of threads and did not want one of those free standing frames, as they would just become dust collectors (I do not use them that often). This is perfect - it stores all my threads - small ones as well as those a bit bigger ones (not the "cones", as they are too High). Art Bin Super Satchel more Yes than No....
This Art Bin is definitely the friend of anyone with a relatively large stash of sewing threads. However.... whilst the height fits all standard coats, drimas, guttermann and Sylko etc size domestic sewing reels the larger reels with plastic or cardboard centres are limited in what fits in and what doesn’t in height terms. The taller coats moon reels definitely do not fit but you can sneak in a number across the gap between the 2 trays if you are prepared to slightly warp the lid of your Art Bin upwards. Otherwise it takes a lot of reels including putting them in the gaps between those on the upright plastic tray spikes. Although when full the trays are quite heavy to lift out onto your table they are extremely useful to have within easy reach of your machine. The bigger art bins for industrial cop size look very worthwhile too - my next purchase. It only works for the continental long type of cotton reel. The old British type fall off.
The problem is that it only works for the long cotton reels. If you have the old British squat type, they come off the ends & fall about when you carry the box. I have searched ebay for o rings or rubber washers with a 3mm hole to hold them on but haven't found any yet.Vollständige Rezension lesen...

Best £20 I ever spent!
I’ve had to downsize my supplies & can only have a small, tidy corner for my ongoing projects, so sorting through my stash, I found so many reels of thread that needed to go somewhere tidy but accessible, so this storage box was exactly what I needed, it’s perfect, holds loads & everything’s kept in place. Great Storage
I've bought a few of these thread storage boxes now as they are so good. Threads go on individual spools and it has two trays that can be lifted out of the box. The threads do not come off the spools if the box is turned upside down or stored on its side. Holds a Lot!
Just what I needed for all my cottons and bobbins. I can now see the colours at a glance instead of having to take each item out to check on the colours and, usually, dropping things in the process and having to rewind the cottons onto the spools/bobbins! However, I did find that you have to juggle the spools about a bit if they are different sizes, as two large spools or two cotton reels of equal size won't fit beside each other and when you are trying to put colours of the similar shade together that is a bit of a niggle. Artbin super satchel thread storage box

A good storage box
This box is great for storing my 1,000 m embroidery thread cops - although it does not take them all due to the spacing of the prongs . It would be great if they were adjustable for the size cop you have .

Excellent but pricey.
